Key Responsibilities:  Supply chain risk monitoring.  Enhancing the data for risk assessments by utilizing various data sources.  Conduct surveys for potential supply chain disruption events like Natural disasters, Weather, Public safety etc.  Collaboration with cross functional team to identify mitigation strategies for potential supply chain disruptions.  Data validation and clean up.  Metadata management- Analyze, validate and maintain supplier network data  Additionally, providing assistance with ad hoc tasks to the team.  Monitor and maintain Operation & Intelligence work book on daily basis.

Key responsibilities:Handling of all Aerospace & Locomotive Projects related to Sourcing and Purchasing Activities.  Global Sourcing & Purchasing of Products, Raw Materials and Hardware’s for GE Transport, GE Health care, Israel Aerospace, Boeing, ABB, Tyco, Honeywell Aerospace, Alstom projects.  Negotiate with suppliers on lead time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.  Working closely with BDG and Program team to support NPI’s, new products, customer pull in/push out requirements.  Responsible for Procuring all Direct and Indirect materials.  Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.  Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.  Analyzing the product cost, excess inventory, lead time and finalizing the MOQ, SPQ and supplier payments.  Coordinating with accounts payable, stores and requesting departments to ensure proper execution of procurement activities.  Organize quick delivery options to avoid unexpected production interruptions to fulfill client needs.  Managing End of Life (EOL) and Obsolete parts.  Vendor follow-ups to manage, track and expedite shipments as needed.  Oversee inventory levels and schedule prompt restocking.  Handling rejections and return to vendor from WH to return/exchange defective parts and arrange replacement/credit back.  Preparation of MRM, OTD, Purchase Spectrum, Monthly Revenue Plan.  Analyze and Preparation of report on Supplier Performance -Quarterly based.  Commodities: Raw Materials, Powder & Paints, Mechanical & Electrical BO's, Fasteners.
