I was also the Project Manager of the Tourism Ireland market books (and have been for the past two years which are the 2010/2011/2012 editions). These market books, or holiday planners, are Tourism Ireland's main marketing tool in their offices across the world. There are ten editions printed in six languages and these are distributed through 16 of their market offices in countries in Europe and the US, Australia and New Zealand. Digital editions of each book are created and available to view and download on their local discoverireland.com website. I also helped develop a facebook app with Tourism Ireland that was an extension of the holiday planner and was used to further engage consumers online and highlight Ireland as a tourist destination. In this role, I produced direct mail marketing material for Ireland which involved creating an interest rate suitable for target customers, writing copy for the mailing, creating design briefs, and working closely with the design team on the proofs. This role also involved working closely with other parts of the marketing department and helped with new affinity accounts such as EBS, Ryanair, AXA, Sony, Stein Travel, and Concern, among others.
