Bibi holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Electronics, an MBA, and a Master in Research Methodology in Management Science. She is a Doctoral candidate in Management Science specializing in Entrepreneurship.Since 2005, Deema has been the CEO of INJAZ, a leading not-for-profit organisation that focuses on youth economic empowerment through education and entrepreneurship. She has over 30 years of diverse experience, including working in the United Nations and the private, public and social sectors. Bibi is recognized both locally and internationally as a leader and social entrepreneur, with strategic insight that contributes to sustainable development, especially in the fields of youth and women empowerment, financial education, literacy, and inclusion, and business and social entrepreneurship.Bibi serves on a number of boards including the Higher Education Council, Baptism Development Zone, Generations for Peace, Tamweelcom Micro-finance, First Education Holding, Global Thinkers Forum, among others, and is an active member of national committees and global councils in the fields of Education, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Development. She is a lifetime fellow in professional networks and educational institutions, including Eisenhower Fellowships (EF 2008), the ASPEN Institute (MELI Fellow 2009), Synergos (Senior Fellow 2007), International Women’s Forum (IWF Fellow 2013), Harvard University (ALI Fellow 2017), and Hussein Technical University (HTU Fellow 2024).
