The Patient Coordinator performs frontline reception, registration, administrative and/or billing activities to contribute to an optimal customer service experience for patients and efficient patient flow for physicians within the Department.

• Worked closely alongside the Senior Operations Manager to help implement the Access Performance Improvement Toolkit. Gained experience in creating and presenting dashboards for Practice Access, Operations and Capacity management. Updated an outdated 50 page toolkit from 2018, for hospital providers and administrative managers to reference for quality improvement standards and best practices. The toolkit included templates and guides for improving service accessibility, digital engagement, scheduling efficiency, capacity and patient satisfaction. Met with lead team members of the Practice Access and Operations sector to target six K.P.I.’s for improvement.• Met with senior ranking stakeholders and executive leadership to understand the current process and demand for improvement.• Shadowed and met with other divisions within the P.O.; including Business Analytics, Access to Care, Business Marketing, Digital Engagement, Human Resources, Quality and Patient Safety, and Practice Management.• Shadowed the front desk at the multispecialty practice to train on the check in and out process and better understand the patient experience.
