I have over 15 years of administrative experience and knowledge of administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, including over 9 years providing high level program support ranging from state to federally funded programs. I understand the need for confidentiality, timeliness, and flexibility. As an Administrative Assistant 3 at Washington State University, I have spent the last two years providing all-encompassing support to the Associate Dean and program support 40-60 students all while simultaneously completing multiple administrative projects on a daily basis. I play a key role in travel management, event planning, budget forecasting and procurement, assisting faculty with personnel processing and required trainings, and managing and auditing multiple databases. Additionally, I successfully communicate orally with internal and external customers on many different levels throughout the day ranging from administrative to executive leadership. My previous roles with the Department of Labor and Industry and with the federal TRIO program as well as my current position at Washington State University have given me working knowledge of law, regulations and policies and procedures which affect the use of program and related support resources. All these positions have required me to be responsive and adaptable in a variety of situations! I am a quick learner, articulate, and self-motivated.
