As the Development Intern, I serve as the right-hand assistant to the Development Manager, specializing in orchestrating successful events and donor relations. My primary focus revolves around the meticulous planning and execution of the annual Trailblaze Challenge Fundraiser. In this role, I manage relationships with donors, participants, volunteers, and key partners, ensuring seamless coordination and fostering strong connections. With a keen eye for detail and time management skills, I work diligently to guarantee every aspect of the event is flawlessly executed, contributing significantly to its success.

The Samford Recruitment Team is a highly selective university organization composedof students who are chosen for one full academic year (Fall and Spring) on the basis ofcommunication skills, campus involvement, and a personal interview. SRT worksalongside Samford’s Office of Admission to assist Samford University in recruitmentprograms through personal contact with prospective students.This group will participate directly in all on-campus events held by the Office ofAdmission, as well as assist the Admission counselors by phoning, writing letters,providing tours, completing office hours, and (optional) traveling in order to recruitstudents. SRT members will serve as hosts and hostesses to the campus whilerepresenting the university.

Orientation leaders (OL) are the most significant contact that a new student makes while attending Bulldog Days. They not only convey information to incoming students and their families, but serve as a resource to them throughout the summer and fall. The orientation leader position is one of the highest positions a student can achieve while at Samford. It is a great opportunity for any student looking to gain leadership skills, learn how to better work with others and make a difference in the lives of incoming students. Along with participating in direct treatment, PT techs will have a role in assessing the condition of patients, planning treatment programs, preparing treatment schedules, and keeping records on the progress of treatment. In addition, we built professional relationships with patients in order to make their treatment programs more enjoyable.
