One of my biggest change in life is deciding to study in a different country with different culture and language, 13,000km away from family. Being independent really improves my personal growth and self-esteem. From improving my communication by exchanging opinions in group discussions during class, to sharing my experience to prospective students and parents as a student ambassador during open days, and joining a table tennis club, I have learned that effective communication is key in understanding and influencing people in an organisation. I am always energized when I interact with people, I enjoy being attentive with customers' orders and questions when I was the cashier during my employment at Domino's Pizza. I also helped a Russian muaythai's participant retrieved his lost luggage at the airport while I was volunteering for IFMA Youth World Championship back in Malaysia. I find satisfaction when I get to help solve people's problem, probably because I am the 'savior' type since I am the eldest in an Asian household.I am highly optimistic and like to take up challenges that push my comfort zone, and interested in working in a team setting from an organisation that takes sustainability seriously, because turtles are too cute to be extinct!
