Hospitality Services

• Act as lead contact for student employment and hiring procedures for Hospitality Services (interviewing, application tracking, coordinating with locations, etc.)• Coordinate departmental interns and other student programs to meet the needs of the department. (Welcome Crew, Secret Shopper Program, Work for Board, Student Employee Scholarship, and other campus event.)• Maintain and coordinate the Welcome Center for Hospitality Services (Staffing, Scheduling, Training, etc.)• Sit as a representative of the Department on various committees, as needed, with our counterpart – University Student Housing. • Lead point of contact for recruitment/retention activities with Texas Tech University (presentations and knowledge of the Department, Dining Plans, etc.)• Organizational and multitasking habits to prepare, coordinate and invite required attendees for internal/external meetings to promote our business of the Department.

• Responsible for same day food production, cashiering, maintaining food quality, and a clean work environment• Managed, tracked, and input accurate waste management, transfers, inventory, and bills daily for three separate dining operations.• Supervised and managed student employees during night shifts• Responsible for unit deposits and accurate bank counts at the close of each shift.
