This strategic transition was essential for deprecating the previous system, streamlining processes, and positioning the team for future scalability. The migration consolidated data sourcing into a unified system and enhanced our ability to ingest additional metadata, such as Amazon storefront metadata.Successfully ingested valuable customer impression(dwell times) and interaction(click, hearts etc) data into Amazon personalization data pipelines with the help of Spark sql jobs that run daily to ingest such data. This comprehensive dataset, sourced from key platforms such as Amazon Storefront and Inspire, plays a crucial role in refining personalization engagement models and supports ongoing experiments aimed at improving data accuracy and filtering efficiency for the team.Engineered and maintained an internal React/TypeScript application backed by GraphQL, which facilitates the management of influencer content for the Shop By Interest page. My work included designing and enhancing user-friendly pages for content curation and implementing intuitive UI features for efficient batch approval and rejection of content. Implemented API to execute requests made by react front-end to merge followers using Spring MVC and added front-end prod connectivity to make changes to the DynamoDB.
