• Knowledge on Development of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging material.• New vendor development and audits for cost benefits and constant effective delivery.• Identification and selection of new packaging material and technologies for productivity & delivery in the existing operations/processes in terms of efficiency and quality and thus meeting the business requirements.• Preparation of strategies for packaging development for timely delivery of all New Packaging initiatives with quality requirements.• Preparation of packaging component, specifications, BOM.• Artwork development- co-ordinate for approval and issue of print proofs.• Providing inputs in the product development stage on the technical feasibility.• Co-ordination with marketing, supply chain, finance, processing for timely and error free launches.• Good knowledge of plastic manufacturing process.• Monitoring the Sampling activity for all types of packaging components like bottles, tins , jars, tubes, pumps, folding boxes , stand up pouches, films , labels , multilayer laminates, etc.Handling all the Lab Activities of Packaging material.

• Handled Packaging development for domestic and export markets.• Online and Offline trouble shooting of packaging material.• Vendor Audits.• Managing of PM specifications and Artworks.• Learning Machine automation and implementation of it.• Improving Packaging machine and Material utilization.• New plant Project w.r.t. cost saving and automization.• Mould Development.• Audit Team member for packaging material supplier.• Explore Capabilities and develop new packaging material vendor.• Conducting plant machinability trials and making necessary modifications in pack mat whenever required.• Conducting online print approvals independently for shade approval and commercial run.• Analyze and provide support to all activities to achieve all marketing objectives and assist to launch new products and reduce cost of production.• Supports manufacturing issues, customer complaints, RCA’s, CAPA’s and audits.• Creates packaging related SOP’s and work Instructions.• Look for opportunities to optimize current packaging material/machines with innovation.• Undertaking different value engineering initiatives to save cost of packaging material through better material, increase line speed/performance , new technology etc.• To explore different options of structure/formats of packing, availability of materials, cost comparison, evaluation of technical parameters.• End to end packaging developments and designing activity for new products.• Cordination with various departments ( Sales & Marketing, Engineering , Production , Legal, Quality assurance etc) for development of artwork of printed packaging material.• Standardizing the quality parameters of packaging materials, standard testing procedure and set up a system for quality checking.• Review and analyze results of in house packaging test.• Communicate and coordination with foreign vendors for packaging information.
