My private practice focuses on offering business consulting, co-founder, and legal services to entrepreneurs, investors and startups. I have expertise in the areas of business modeling, business and systems architecture, go-to-market strategy, branding integrity, team building, capital strategies, and execution strategies and implementation. In select cases I have taken on the role of a traditional attorney, compliance officer, general counsel, chief strategy officer, chief operating officer and chief executive officer. In general I spot issues others miss and come up with viable solutions to obstacles.

While employed at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP I was responsible for both litigation and transactional legal matters. I managed and litigated an extensive portfolio of cases on behalf some of the largest United States based financial institutions, mortgage servicing companies, asset management companies, and insurance companies. My litigation practice required me to litigated in almost every state court in Florida, as well as the United States District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. In addition, I was responsible for all transactional real estate matters handled by our office, including structuring and securing financing on behalf of a Fortune 100 automobile manufacture for expansion of its operations in Florida. Furthermore, I assisted various startups and real estate investors with incorporating, company structuring, intellectual property audits and registration, antitrust compliance, securities matters, employee and contractor matters, financing and similar matters.

While employed at Barker & Barker, P.A. I handled litigation and transactional matters in the areas of corporate law, finance, real estate, title insurance, and construction, under the supervision of the founding partner. My typical duties included but were not limited to: performing legal research; drafting documents for litigation and transactional matters; structuring legal arguments for litigation and to support transactional structuring and corporate activities; fact gathering; managing case and project work flow; and preparing Continuing Legal Education Courses on behalf of the firm.
