As technical custodians of these systems, the nature of support is to ensure availability of trade data including PNL and Risk for the users and to investigate any missing data, resolving Cash , MTM breaks when Middle Office performed reconciliation. 1.Provided first-line support (following the sun) to traders from Options and Spot desks, Commodities, Structurers and Sales, worldwide. Providing solutions to the support problems has enhanced my knowledge in operation of Front / Middleware systems including FCO Blotter in C# and Murex trading systems based on Java Run Time Environmnent (JRE).2.First point of support for various Brokerages, globally in case there is a STP failure between third party brokerage C# Blotter application. The nature of support issues varies from analysing erroneous trades interfacing between Murex and C# Blotter application to ad-hoc administrative functions including providing user accessibility for end users of C# Blotter application.3.Designing and implementing scripts which automated generation of P/L simulation / risk matrices for Front Office has increased my knowledge in this area.4.Involved in the early morning and late evening support which included running maintenance checks on Murex and Yolus (the risk engine system) systems and ensuring uploading of market data into Murex at End of Day and End of Month. My responsibilities focussed on maintaining and designing new content for company’s website. On a daily basis I liaised with software team based in India to make the website more user-friendly and develop strategies to optimize and monetize the website. My role involved managing the operations of B4U Interactive. This included assessing its performance by generating daily reports. Finally I also looked after the terminals on the Local Area Network.
