The Division of Interest (DOI) Analyst is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of ownership in an assigned geographic area and is co-located with the entire Division of Interest group supporting all geographic areas.Responsibilities:- The Division of Interest function is responsible for the proper distribution of revenues obtained from oil and/or gas production or other mineral deposits including the ongoing maintenance of the mineral ownership of those wells.- The DOI analyst’s role requires analysis of complex legal documents to ascertain the appropriate course of action for a variety of ownership transactions.- The DOI analyst determines working interests and burdens associated with interests based on title analysis of deeds, assignments, purchase & sale agreements, probate documents, leases and royalty agreements, pooling declarations, title opinions and all associated documents.- The DOI Analyst processes all probate information and transfer documents from interest owners in order to maintain a correct division of interest and updates system accordingly; maintains and corrects divisions of interest when payouts and recompletions occur; acts as liaison to Accounting, Marketing and Operating departments; and responds to interest owner inquiries representing the company with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
