I am currently working as an Officer in assembly line manufacturing and quality operations at Tata Motors Ltd. in Jamshedpur.My expertise lies in measuring, monitoring, and improving the quality and process performance through frequent training, reviews, and problem-solving. In my current role, I am responsible for analyzing and resolving in-plant part and process quality problems, reducing repair and rectification lead time to minimize downtime.I am an effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and hands-on experience in building training materials and imparting training to teams. I have also worked on joint analysis for DRR, DRL, and market failures, working collaboratively with suppliers, dealerships, and service teams to resolve issues.I am passionate about value engineering through cost-saving ideas and monitoring and improving DRR and DRL to improve qualitative production through quality control tools. In my current position, I handle quality operations and PDI testing of vehicles, conduct process audits and layered audits on the line to reduce problems at PDI due to process lapses, and resolve issues related to validation testing of new models and new parts in vehicles by actual running in loading conditions.My experience also includes safety observation rounds, work instruction up-gradation and creation, daily product audit feedback, and in-depth analysis and closure of customer complaints. I am responsible for CPA, TATA PDI, PSO, and dealer PDI audits, and I work along with WCQ guidelines to impart BIQ culture in my team.I have led, coached, and developed several self-directed teams (SDTs) to accomplish operational objectives and excellence, led rejection meetings, and ensured proper documentation of the line and rejection. I have also been involved in 5S and quality kaizen activities, made Pareto of top-10 concerns, taken corrective and preventive actions, and monitored them.Lastly, I monitor absenteeism and ensure it is kept under 10%, conduct rejection analysis and costing as per target, and calculate and maintain zero-defect vehicles trend, quality trend, and defect monitoring during the overall inspection of vehicles.Thank you for taking the time to read my profile!
