IFAD is an international financial institution and specialized United Nations agency based in Rome, the UN’s food and agriculture hub. As a SBCC research specialist I led the planning and management of field research activities in Nepal for the study titled; "Provision of services to conduct an analysis of nutrition education and SBCC interventions, investment portfolio and document best practices in the IFAD Asia and the Pacific Region (APR)." The study was conducted with funding support from IFAD and implemented by BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. The roles and responsibilities of this position included;• Led the planning and management of field research activities for Nepal.• Translated the interview guides into Nepali Language before going to field in Surkhet, Nepal.• Conducted in-depth interviews with the beneficiaries and key informant interviews with the field level staff of the progarmme according to the sampling list provided by BRAC-JPGSH.• Shared the field reports with BRAC-JPGSH PIs and CoPIs on a regular basis during the data collection period.• Transcribed the interviews verbatim and translate them into English and submit to BRAC-JPGSH.• Developed a professional video story.
