Deepa obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Mauritius, during which she was enlightened learning about scientific experiences, sustainable way of using eco-energy instead of relying on petroleum. During her course, she did an internship at the ministry of environment and learnt how different types of waters were being tested and reported to external clients.Later, she obtained a job at the ISO-17025 accreditated laboratory (Chemco Laboratory of Harrel Mallac Limited) whereby she is working as a laboratory analyst and is developing her knowledge in Quality Management System, Auditing and testing of water and solid samples. At the moment, she is doing her last semester of MBA at the university of Mauritius where she is developing her management skills by learning about entrepreneurship, marketing, Human resource management, operations management and strategic planning.She hopes to develop other skills and competences in the coming years to grow to become a more knowledgeable and competent person as a professional.
