With over 12 years of experience in immunology research, ranging from chronic viral infectious diseases to autoimmune disorders to ocular immune response to gene therapy, I am a scientist deeply committed to the free flow of knowledge and unafraid to break conventional boundaries in pursuit of innovative treatments. My mission is to discover and deliver safe and effective therapies that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.My expertise lies in translational immunology and biomarker discovery, currently focused on assessing and mitigating the immunogenicity of ocular AAV gene therapy. I bring extensive knowledge of innate and adaptive immune cell biology, working with both human subjects and animal models. My research planning and strategy experience include preclinical study design and execution, budgeting, and CRO management. My technical proficiency spans multi-color flow cytometry, immunoassays, molecular biology techniques, MSD/Luminex platforms, neutralization assays, and advanced imaging methods. I have strong data anaylsis skills, including large data set statistics and visualization. My excellent presentation and writing skills, are demonstrated in the numerous publications, abstracts, and technical reports that I have authored.
