Duties:  Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters.  Liaising with the parents or guardians of pupils.  Looking after the teaching material and resources.  Giving informative, helpful and accurate reports to parents on a pupils progress.  Updating records of and reports on the personal and social needs of pupils.  Communicating and co-operating with persons or bodies outside the school.  Taking a full part in school assemblies as required.
