I am interviewing social workers and managers in London and Kent (including Medway) as part of my doctoral research on their interactions with adults seeking asylum. My project aims to understand the challenges faced by social workers, and to explore how best to prepare and support them as individuals and as professional collectives. The research should have an impact on policy and training considerations in the future.
