As a Special Projects Consultant for New Jersey HOSA, I oversee key initiatives related to conference management and leadership development. I am responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of major events, including the Fall Leadership Conference, Northern, Central, and Southern Regional Conferences, and the State Leadership Conference. My role includes preparing state officers for their leadership roles at these events, managing scripting and staging, and ensuring seamless communications for the chartered association. Through this position, I play a pivotal role in fostering leadership and engagement across the organization.

As the Secretarial/Risk Management Officer for Phi Delta Epsilon, I oversee chapter operations, manage risk assessment, and lead communications to ensure alignment with organizational policies and values. I maintain accurate records of meetings and events, streamline administrative tasks, and collaborate with the executive board to identify and mitigate potential risks. In addition, I spearhead chapter communications, including social media strategy and member engagement initiatives, fostering an inclusive and professional community. This role enables me to uphold the fraternity’s values of philanthropy, deity, and education while driving member development and organizational growth, all while fostering the development of compasionate, authentic, and driven future physicians.

Our project focuses on enhancing sustainable sourcing practices, specifically related to the procurement and redistribution of textiles in hospitality and healthcare settings. - Serving as the Secondary Board Representative by acting as the liaison for the 200,000+ secondary members on the Board of Directors of the largest CTSO that is 100% healthcare- As an IEC member, my aim is to serve as a voice for a membership of over 291,000 students and 3.1+ million alumni members; working to dare to create initiatives to better allocate resources and offer guidance, provide vast opportunities, and allow for career-building connections through industry partnerships for the members; primarily work to host the 2023 Washington Leadership Academy and 2024 International Leadership Conference -Attended 2 partnership conferences to represent HOSA-FHP at the N.C.H.S.E. As a Patient Care Technician on the cardiovascular surgical step-down unit at Jersey Shore University Hospital, I assist the healthcare team in delivering high-quality care. My responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, performing minor procedures like blood sugars and blood draws, and supporting the nurses in day-to-day tasks regarding patient care, cleaning, and assisting. I work closely with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes while gaining hands-on experience and learning from experienced healthcare professionals in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Beginning as a cadet, I spent a year volunteering alongside professional EMTs, assisting with patient care and taking vital signs. I completed EMT training from January to April 2023 and became NREMT certified in July 2023. As an EMT, I now provide emergency medical services, responding to calls and delivering critical care in high-pressure situations, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in the community.
