• Responsible for the design and development of Hologic’s next generation medical imaging device applications using DICOM standard for handling, storing, printing, and transmitting information.• Tech lead for the transition of a multi-modality image viewing workstation from another company after acquisition. Revamped the architecture to enable it over the web using XenDesktop and VirtualBox for remote viewing/processing capabilities. The application could now be used over the web by multiple clients with minimal client device requirements.• Took ownership of transitioning from Trac to JIRA and SVN to Perforce so as to synchronize the use of tools across various products our team supports/develops.

Summary:• Worked on the development of web portal, database system, windows configuration tool, localization and desktop applications for some of company’s leading breast imaging workstations, including software only solutions.• In earlier days, responsible for maintenance, development and upgrades of several product installers.

Conceptualized and successfully ran a dance school (Nach K Dekh) for 4 years growing from 1 to 8 instructors and 30 to 135 students & pro-dancers within first 2 years. Some of the responsibilities included choreographing, teaching, mentoring instructors, creating marketing strategy, administrative work, show concept & production.
