• Identify & manage national and international clients for potential business development towards high value customers and strategically securing profitable business while sourcing outbound & inbound cargo through various Shippers & Consignees• Take care of top and bottom line revenues handling exports as well as imports providing end to end logistics & shipping solutions and seamlessly dealing with importers, exporters and manufacturers etc• Evolve market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets & identifying key/ institutional accounts and strategically secure profitable business in terms of yield increment/ order• Accountable for sourcing agents to handle shipments across the Globe with strict adherence to SLA and negotiating best freight rates with agents & shipping lines,• Accountable for overall operations including order booking, vessel space allocation prospecting and inventory forecasting while selling the most profitable cargo• Recognize financially strong/ cost-effective and reliable new markets and establish strategic alliances to facilitate deeper market penetration thereby increasing profit margin• Deftly handling commercial and administrative functions while regularly liaising with various agencies .• Instrumental in Market Research, Corporate Sales & Marketing and Relationship Management• Interact with client on a personal level to understand specific requirements offering customized solution to maximize customer satisfaction• Responsible for timely service delivery as well as collections from the clients within the stipulated credit period while managing the distribution system of the company and maintaining smooth operations• Retain customers by providing best possible service in terms of immediate response to enquiries, quick execution of orders & by keeping the customer updated
