Legal Strategy PlanningConceiving appropriate legal strategies for client’s case after assessment of case history and member of Company’s New Business Initiative team for Srilanka and Bangladesh.Initiating, streamlining and managing various cases of various High Courts, Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, Consumer Courts, Lok Adalats, etc and conducting cases & ensuring compliance of the orders. Liaisoning with Government Relations and Corporate Communications to ensure cross-function coordination and sharing of informationCompliances under Standards of Weights and Measures, conducting Legal Awareness sessions, Legal Audits of Corporate office , Regional and offices , Issuing Monthly Legal Newsletter, Standardisation of various Contracts for business.Closing contracts with vendors for enabling services, ensuring vendor compliance and advising the organization with regard to related issues. Conducting vendor audits for labour law compliance. Handling Site Compliance issues with close support to the logistics team;Supporting the Human Resource function of the Company on statutory as well as process compliance, drafting and vetting of Appointment Letters, Service Agreements, Company’s HR Policies etc.;FCPA Training and Compliance ProjectHandling FCPA and Anti-trust compliance project for Panasonic India.Training of employees, partners and screening done for the same.Vetting/ Drafting/ DocumentationDrafting of Statutory notices, Complainants, Suits based on varied types of facts, Petitions, Written Statements, Affidavit-in-Reply, Affidavit-in-Evidence, Appeals & Miscellaneous proceedings. Maintaining corporate records and management of legal data on a regular basis. Preparing and sending notices to the defaulters & replying the objections raised by the consumers.Releasing SOP for business on critical issues.

Legal Documentation-Preparing & drafting of claims for arbitration and handling the same in arbitration proceeding for and on behalf of the company.-Preparing Legal Notices,etc. for legal proceedings.-Drafting and vetting various legal & commercial documents viz, Contracts & Agreements.Corporate Consultancy / Liaison Work-Providing expert corporate consultancy services -Maintaining sustained contact with legal professionals and government officials for legal procedures and finalising various legal agreements.-Liaising with government departments and regulatory authorities for obtaining necessary sanctions and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.Litigation Matters-Handling litigation before Courts and various other courts / tribunals / commissions / Consumer Forum / Securities Appellate Tribunals and regulatory authorities, and for resolving critical issues.-Handling cases / defaulters clients and initiating legal actions against them.
