• Line manage a team of 20 Workforce Planners/ Senior Planners/Project Co-ordinators and ensure the effective planning of project, reactive and the planned tasks using standard times and utilisation tools for the field.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and codes of good practice
• Ensure that team schedule effective utilisation, efficiency and productivity of the Field Engineers
• Undertake weekly performance and procedure audits of the Planning team to drive the team performance for continuous improvement with the help of performance reports
• Ensure and drive an effective review and management of WIP. Weekly reports the findings to Operations Director regarding Engineers’ Planning Capacity and discuss operational problems in WIP to enable them to identify.
• Take responsibility to deliver a first-class service for project work to the clients like NHS, Rolls Royce, LBG, and Vodafone and ensuring all projects are planned mobilised and delivered on time and to the agreed.

Thames Water

• Liaising and supporting stakeholders/mangers at all levels internally and externally and ensuring delivery of work optimistically within the prioritised set time scale.
• Be responsible for prioritising and allocating customer service activity to the operational resource ensuring full compliance with SLA (Service Level Agreements) and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identifies area of continuous improvement of both within the planning process and scheduling team.
• Liaise with other Waste water planners/schedulers as appropriate to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed to facilitate the working of the department.
• Deliver and sustain high levels of internal satisfaction levels for customer services and lead & support team

• An interpersonal role contains three different activities of leading a team, acting as a figurehead of the department, and liaising with others – internally
• An informational role contains disseminating information and acting as a spokesperson for information to other parts of the organization.
• A decisional role contains building entrepreneurship in the department, influencing and coaching the team members
