DevOps Engineer As a DevOps Engineer I am responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams, implementing and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and optimizing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for efficient and reliable software delivery.My key responsibilities include:CI/CD Implementation: I design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, and Github action. This involves automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure quick and reliable software releases.Infrastructure Automation: I leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources. This includes deploying and scaling applications on cloud platform AWS.Configuration Management: I work with tool Ansible to automate the configuration and management of servers, ensuring consistency and reproducibility across different environments.Monitoring and Alerting: I set up monitoring systems like Prometheus,Grafana and datadog to collect and analyze performance metrics, ensuring the health and availability of applications. I also configure alerts and notifications to proactively address any issues.Security and Compliance: I implement security best practices and integrate security controls into the CI/CD pipelines. This includes vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Skills and qualifications:Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins ,Github actionProficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.Knowledge of container management tools Docker and kubernetesFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS Cloud Expertise in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, pagerduty site24*7Good knowledge about linux and bash scripts , shell scripts , groovy scripts , ruby inspec. understanding of security practices and compliance requirements.Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.As a DevOps Engineer, my goal is to drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.
