Formal Verification- One of the main technical contributors for the SLEC product (Sequential Logic Equivalence Checker) from Calypto.- Designed and implemented (in C++) the core algorithms and technologies for SLEC. - Designed and led the development of key word-level technology for equivalence checking of arithmetic-intensive designs. - Job responsibilities include analysis of customer cases for trouble-shooting capacity/correctness issues. - Designed and implemented the technology required to fully verify the transformations done by Calypto's power-reduction product PowerPro. - Provide technical guidance to the engineering team for SLEC.

Static Program Analysis and Compilers- Worked as a researcher in the Program Analysis and Translation group. This research led to the publication of a number of articles in reputed conferences and journals. - Was one of the key members of a small team that developed the Sybase Migration Toolkit (MTK), a translator from Transact-SQL (Sybase's Stored Procedure Language) to DB2 SQL PL (IBM's Database Stored Procedure Language). Was awarded an Outstanding Technical Achievement award at IBM for my contributions to this effort. - Was also one of the key designers of a patented algorithm for efficient streaming processing of XPath expressions. - Worked for 9 months at the IBM Toronto Development Lab, where I worked with the DB2 Compiler team and customers involved with migrations from Sybase/SQL-Server to DB2.
