Responsible for the financial and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Principal responsibilities are:1) Reporting and Oversee the issuance of financial information2) Planning - formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives, Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans, Develop financial and tax strategies, Manage the budgeting processes, Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction3) Treasury - Maintaining banking relationships, Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, Invest funds, Arrange equity financing4) Risk Management - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile, Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry, Construct and monitor reliable control systems, Maintain appropriate insurance coverage, Compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, Ensure that record keeping as per auditors and government agencies, Reporting of risk issues, Handling external auditors and their findings and recommendations5) Operations - Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package, Implement operational best practices, Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced

Have been a part of due diligence (buy side and sell side) teams for various merger, acquisition and investment transactions involving both private equity and strategic players on the valuation adjustments and business rationale. Experience includes research on various industries with respect to understanding of business (primarily financial and operating KPIs), co-ordination with the identified target for obtaining relevant financial and operating information, analysis of information and identification of operating and financials trends, understanding of growth prospects and SWOT analysis; and presenting the analytical conclusions to interested parties in a crisp manner.
