I have gained more than 18 years of professional experience in programming and Implementation, from policy to practice, in the area of climate change, environment and watershed management. My core strength lies in multi-hazard risk assessment, integrated climate risk management including Climate Change Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction including Early Warning System. I have worked for/with the people of the Mountains , Hills and the Terai , covering all ecological zones in a diverse bio-physical, cultural and socio-economic settings and few districts are yet to be reached ! Since Jan 2022, I have joined UNDP Country Office Nepal in a capacity of Programme Analyst- Climate Change and Resilience. In my new role as Programme Analyst for the Country Office, i will continue working on programme design/ project formulation, provide my expertise on advancing climate policy, advocating for green recovery and building strategic partnerships.I will build upon my previous experience on Climate Change Risk Management and DRR, Sustainable Development, and Natural Resource Management. Learning is a continuous process and I will keep doing so both vertically and horizontally and try to contribute in the practice and academic fronts. I thank you all who have been supportive for my academic and professional career directly and indirectly. My gratitude to all of you !
