Education:I completed my high school education in Baroda, Gujarat, India, and earned my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Odessa National Medical University. I went on to complete an internship at Baroda Medical College, Sir Sayajirao General Hospital, followed by training in Internal Medicine at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University. My residency in Nuclear Medicine was at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where I also served as Chief Resident.Current Role:I joined the UAB Department of Radiology in October 2024 and currently serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics. My passion lies in the clinical practice of Nuclear Medicine.Clinical Interests:My clinical expertise includes advanced molecular imaging techniques such as SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MRI. I also focus on Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT), Nuclear Cardiology, and education.Research Interests:My research centers on developing innovative radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging and theranostics in oncology, with additional focus on advancements in targeted radioligand therapies.Leadership Roles:I am actively involved in national and international leadership, including serving as an American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM) Intern (2025–2027), Vice President of Education for the Nuclear Medicine Residents Organization (NMRO), and Secretary of the Indo-American Society of Nuclear Medicine (IASNM). Additionally, I contribute as a member of the Committee on In-Training & Early Career Professionals at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI).
