Client: Royal Bank of ScotlandDescription: Asset protection Scheme (APS) was introduced by the UK government in 2009 to play a central role in restoring confidence in the UK's banking system by providing protection against future losses against participant's riskiest assets. APS operates like a conventional insurance policy. RBS pays an annual fee to stay in the asset protection scheme in return for which the UK government insures the value of certain assets that are owned by RBS. The RBS group as a whole has to report to the UK government on a monthly basis about these assets. So the application under development/test processes a huge amount of data on a monthly basis. Various reports are generated from this data and presented to UK government treasury. We as a test team, help in testing the application which is responsible for processing of the data and generation of reports. We provide end to end testing of the system i.e. a.
