Internet abuse research intern

Worked in WDG, windows + devices group. Played with the boot sequence on Windows 10 for several months.

Instructional Assistant (IA) for EECS 388, Introduction to computer security. (Fall 2015, Winter 2016)

Worked in Office business group, on data visualization and experiences team. Worked on creating new pivot table functionality in Excel for mobile platforms including Windows immersive and Android.

The hackNY Fellows program pairs quantitative and computational students with startups which can demonstrate a strong mentoring environment: a problem for a student to work on, a person to mentor them, and a place for them to work. Students enjoy free housing together over the course of 10 weeks and a pedagogical lecture series to introduce them to the ins and outs of joining and founding a startup.Participated in hackNY program and met a great team with a powerful network.

Developed a centralized log management system using logstash, elasticsearch, and Kibana to streamline devops and client solution workflow. Created a web application and built a RESTful API to communicate data between front and backends to ship aggregate order statistics from place to place.

Web development and Computer Science intern at Ann Arbor Start Up Stamp.fm. I worked on developing a system that could manage a multitude of requests at once - including (but not limited to) video streaming, image handling and CRUD operations on the database. I also developed an efficient sorting/voting algorithm that successfully pinpoints and identifies the best candidate from a crowd-selected pool of applicants. I built the system using MongoDB and Express.js on Node.js. I additionally worked with a team to successfully and intelligently contribute to a growing code-base.
