• Meshing of the complex intake manifolds geometries using ANSA, snappyHexMesh and cfMesh
• Calculation of the forces and aerodynamic moments acting on tumble flap mounted on the runner outlets of intake manifolds

• CFD Simulation and investigation of CI Engine combustion using CONVERGE.
• Understanding the effect of the Compression Ratio, Injection Pressure, Injection Timing and amount of EGR on NOx and Cox emission and integrated heat released
• Benchmarking of the simulation results with the experimental results from literature
• Finding the optimum value of above mentioned parameters and using Design for Optimization
• These parameters were varied to achieve minimum NOx emission, without compromising with the engine performance at certain speed.
