I am a Process Development and Device Engineer at First Solar, where I apply my expertise in thin film photovoltaics, wet coating, physical vapor deposition, metrology, and device engineering to develop and optimize novel processes, materials, and device structures for high-performance and sustainable solar modules. With over 9 years of experience in device and process development, I have contributed to several innovative projects that aim to improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of First Solar's Series 6 and onwards CdTe solar cells modules, as well as to explore new applications and markets for perovskite thin films and organic light-emitting diodes. My core competencies include slot-die coating, roll coating, spray coating, physical vapor deposition, ink and solvent engineering, artificial intelligence, materials characterization, and additive engineering. My mission is to leverage my skills and knowledge to create sustainable and smart solutions for the emerging challenges and opportunities in the energy and electronics sectors.I have received several highly prestigious and competitive international fellowships including the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) postdoctoral fellowship (2023) to work at Imperial College London and DST Inspire Faculty Fellowship (2022), India. ⦁ Design, fabrication, and prototyping of highly efficient and stable optoelectronic, photovoltaic, and electrochromic devices by deeply understanding their device physics and suitable materials system.⦁ Transfer new wet coating processes from lab to high-volume manufacturing scale using various advanced printing techniques, such as sheet-to-sheet and roll-to-roll slot-die coating, roll coating, Spray coating, wire-bar coating, and blade-coating.⦁ Design individual process equipment to enable thin film wet coating, determine and evaluate tool/equipment specifications through engineering, scientific, or empirical methods, and troubleshoot the equipment, and introduce hardware upgrades to improve functionality.⦁ Develop state-of-the-art high-volume manufacturing compatible in-line and laboratory scale metrology for material, solution, and thin film, establish controls for critical parameters, improve process robustness, statistical analysis of data with JUMP
