 Arranging all import /export documents for custom clearance for CHA. Preparing documents for remittance. Preparing purchase order from indent & checking PI. Taking quotation from overseas supplier, rate negotiating.  Taking quotation from freight forwarder, CHA , and coordinating to them accordingly. Submitting Triplicate Exchange control copy to bank. Arranging security for shipping line. Prepare challan for the goods arrived to hand over these to concern stores. Preparing landed cost of the goods received. Maintain all compulsory records for all Import activities. Execution of continuity bond, annexure and intimate it to custom for the goods received at concessional rate of duty Submission of ‘custom quarterly return’ and its ‘end use’ for the goods received at concessional rate of duty. Issuing of shipping mark for the goods received, in transit, expected order to be place. Preparing account note for the custom duty payments, Invoices received from CHA, forwarder, courier etc., distribution these documents to the concerned person, department for payment. To ensure entries in exim registers i.e. payments clearing invoices, duty, insurance demurrage, miscellaneous charges. Follow-ups to account for Duty payments, payments of forwarders, CHA. Checking checklist provided by CHA & reverting it back. Day-to-day business operations like documents checking, Insurance, . Preparing high sea sale documents. Preparing Letter of Credit documents, bank guarantee, bill of exchange. Preparation of Export Documentation i.e (Preparation of Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Attestation of it from Chamber of Commerce.) Liaising with the Shipping Lines for the issuance of Bill of Lading. Preparing and submitting shipment documents through our Bank to our customers and updating them immediately after the shipment.
