1.Implementing purchase / procurement strategies and ensuring they align with requirements.2.Managing purchase activities; conducting joint study with various end users for technical evaluation of various suppliers and developing various negotiation strategies for discussion with suppliers.4.Responsible for cost analysis/ price negotiations, risk analysis and monitoring price trends.

Commercial experience. Floating enquiries, evaluating offers. Coordination between Project Sites & design team. Identifying, negotiating and developing a dedicated supplier / vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of raw materials and reduction in delivery time. Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms, etc. Ensure quality of incoming inputs / raw material. Preparing Clean Sheet Costing and building up of Total Cost of ownership. Evaluating demand supply position; Formulating and implementing of strategies. Negotiating and finalizing the order based on strategies. Give inputs on price trends in various raw material groups Close coordination with Mktg, R&D and Planning & Cross Functional Team.
