Developed diversified lending book by lending to SMEs, vendors of large corporates, PE funded start-ups, supply chain financing, NBFCs, mature manufacturing firms, distress firms and funding for working capital, capex, OTS, acquisition finance, bridge gaps in working capital. Successfully replicated wholesale practices to SME lending - structuring for small corporate and smaller value. Key accomplishment has been to maintain a zero delinquency book & simplification of processes to ease execution.

As part of the NBFC Structured Finance team, we specialized in collateralized credit to mid and large corporate under special situations either at the promoter or HoldCo level or in structured manner to OpCo. Was awarded the Reliable Titan Award (Senior) for Credit and Fixed Income.Products cover variations under special situations like promoter finance, collateralized lending, structured finance, mezzanine finance & other corporate finance solutions like leasing & restructuring. The role covered sourcing to account management, including exit. Last assignment was internal mobility to be part of team for special focus accounts in order to provide the needed high intensity engagement and fast paced actions, including regulatory and ARC routes for relationships totalling to ~ INR 25,000 Mn. The objective for setting up the unit was to ring-fence and monetize collateral, recover dues and restore account to normalcy, with a view to have appropriate cover and servicing of outstanding exposure.

The team was to be scaled up to transact on exchanges and in physical commodities, covering precious metals, agricultural products & international arbitrage. The business grew to become one of the largest contributors to total revenues for the Group. Share of physical precious metals distribution done by our commodities team, grew to 4 - 5 % of the annual volumes imported in India. The most interesting part of the role was to set up physical commodities infrastructure and migrating currency trading to ITCM and CP code methodology, which eliminated the problem of trading limits for the entire organization.

Corporate Center worked directly with the CEO & CFO. It was formed as internal strategy & implementation team for strategic & change management projects. The team brought about ideas for strategic change, planned growth strategy for businesses and incubated new business ideas, drove change & managed the transition process across LOBs.Key projects - Led departmental turnarounds for operational risk management, infrastructure team and TMCM. This has transformed into an independent business - Prime Brokerage.- Achieved ISO 9000 certification for Edelweiss Group across LOBs.- Developed BCP and DR for all LOBs. The Group achieved 80% volumes of regular expiry day, working under the disruption caused by terrorist attacks on Mumbai.

Sales quality was developed to take care of the interests of the customers, who were purchasing either and investment or insurance product from HSBC India. It was designed to make the sales swifter, safer & secure. It would protect the Bank from operational & regulatory risk, while safeguarding the customer's interests. Developed a scalable model of Sales Quality, which had a pan-India roll-out & thereafter replicated in Dubai in 2006-07. Received the award of Champion of Champions, for setting the channel.

ICICI Bank had an interesting medely of roles ranging from branch & frontline to leading a business unit as a Branch Manager & thereafter being part of the corporate team for the retail liabilities. The last roles was of a Process Manager for all the retail branches of ICICI Bank, wherein we would control the branch channel for reaching out to the customer. The most interesting parts of the stint was people management, customer management & relationship, planning & execution of the BCP strategy, which was successful in the most extreme man-made & natural contingencies, changing the cash accounting process for the branches, rollout of new products through the branches and NRI sales.
