At NTPC(National thermal power corporation), badarpur, I have visited various sections like BMD(boiler mentainence depatment), TMD( turbine mentainence depatment) and plant auxillaries. I was allowed to observe the working of various machines and equipments. We were also allowed to share our ideas for any improvements in the plant. I gave an idea to seperate the fine iron dust produced at the ball mill due to rubbing of balls with each other using magnetic seperators, to reduce the consumption of heat at boiler (furnance).
