Responsible for tactical procurement / material planning organization (Grand Rapids- Salt lake-Dallas- Monterey) within the Dematic NA- Supply Chain Solutions segment.Business Transformation deployment leader for the supply chain and manufacturing functions across NA KION ( SCS - Dematic) business. The transformation scope ( FY 2023-2025) encompasses the rollout of S4 Hana, SAP TM, SAP WMS, standardized global processes, and supporting tools- SRM, MES etc.

Responsible for direct, indirect, and MRO spend. Work with NAM HUB category management to roll out cost-out initiatives. Set Inventory control policies, ensure plan for every part is developed & material planning strategies like ROP, kanban is utilized. Drive continuous improvement within the department, develop leader standard work for material planners. Oversee vendor quality and OTD performance scorecards. Drive SCAR/8D resolutions and root cause countermeasures. Generate forecast, make vs buy, product phase-in/out based on Sales & operations planning (SIOP). Maximize ERP ( SAP) utilization in daily operations (P2P).Collaborate with transport & logistics team to manage freight and optimize EM source transit time. Ensure material availability, lead time reduction, and risk mitigation actions are addressed in a timely manner and customer escalations are addressed.

Coordinate and develop a detailed master schedule for the largest distribution transformer plant. Monitor and publish key business KPIs. Drive synchronization between various operations and planning teams. Drive / Lead Kaizen initiatives to improve value add within the operations and material organization. Improve SAP utilization & best practice implementation within the business.

Managed a lean team of resources across production, plant maintenance, and transformer service departments for 2 years resulting in an efficient and productive team environment.Responsible for operation metrics - Revenue , Cost, Productivity, OTD etc. Also , chair union negotiations and partner with HRBP in developing enterprise bargaining agreements.

Responsible for generating Production plan for SDT/MD/LMDT line . Strategic planning to meet business targets/Revenue. Integrate the engineering plan with the production plan. Coordinate with production to meet KPI- TPT,OTD. Coordinate with sales & contract to meet CDD, review TTPT. Procurement of critical items. Liaise with procurement to ensure on-time material availability, review material shortage/ expedite materials.

Responsible for Manufacturing Process Integration. Implement Advanced planning tool and MES system. Production Planning experiencePP Power User - SAP MM SAP AG certified.
