IGATE has merged with Capgemini in July 2015. This merger greatly enhances the ability of Capgemini to provide value added and differentiated services to it's customers. I was hired by client to work at their location in the US for one functionalities in Claims life cycle - Auto Estimating. The major outline was to integerate new their Claims Systems in an online platform with back end support of IBM databases. Responsibiities - Work with business partners/sponsors to identify and analyze business challenges, root cause issues and impact analysis. - Research and evaluate alternative solutions to enhance the performance of existing resources by reducing the DB2 usages.- Key liason between the client development team and vendor product management teams. Client uses prime products for claims Estimation from highly rated companies in the industry. Working closely with them to integeration with the client business requirements and models. I was honored for my efforts for this seemless integeration work with a 'Pat-on-the-Back' award and appreciation from client core management team. - Application support analyst to monitor the health of the application and its responsive nature with incoming vendor data. -Appointed as technical analyst by the client to manage its current reporting structure enhancement project. This invloved in managing the team and project management activities. Hired to work for a leading insurance company in US primarily engaged in Auto, Fire and Life Insurance. The project mainly listed client's vision to convert the code layout to match the industry standards. Also make enhancments to exisitng Claims functionalities, monitor end to end performace and 24*7*365 production support. Responsibilities - Migrating MVS PL/1 to Enterprise PL/1 (EPL/1) and work to issue to production environment. - Analysis, Code creation, Design Documents Creation, Testing- Defect Prevention Activities to ensure the quality of deliverables.- Code Setup, Code Review for Unit/Integeration testing.- Co-ordinate with onsite team for defect resolution and support handling.- Key member in transitioning the Property & Casualty Claims knowledge.
