I am passionate about software engineering. It started with solving small logical challenges writing C programs and over time progressed into using software technology and platforms to help clients transform their application landscape to respond to business needs faster. Most of my 25 years of experience has involved working with Life Sciences companies developing a deeper understanding of the domain and working across R&D, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & enabling functions. In my current role, I manage technology work delivered from India for our ASGR (Austria, Switzerland, Germany & Russia) clients. This role allows me to bring the best of our digital transformation and innovation to our clients creating an agile and futuristic application landscape in the process. In my previous role, I played the role of Industry lead for the Products Industry Group (Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Retail, Automotive, Industrial & Travel). In that role, I was responsible for growing the practice through investments in Industry assets, creating a go to market strategy for our assets & offerings and niche Industry capability development.Technology is changing at a rapid pace and businesses will need to adapt to this change. Futuristic products and platforms will provide richer functionality and user experience whilst requiring minimal support. AI/ML, AR/VR, IOT, RPA, Blockchain and other technologies will provide new possibilities in future. I am truly excited about the prospects of combining new technology with advances in pure sciences to offer better efficacy, faster development and affordable solutions to humanity. Technology evolution has also created a good ecosystem for startups to thrive. Advances in FinTech, MedTech etc. have shown that traditional models can be challenged and disrupted especially with better access to capital. I continue to follow this space closely through the Accenture ecosystem partner framework as well as through the broader industry network.
