CurrentAs a Junior Engineer (Maintenance), my key role responsibilities are,* Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations within the company's facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.* Assign tasks to maintenance staff and diligently monitor progress to ensure timely completion of work, maintaining high standards of quality.* Conduct regular visits to the substation yard to visually monitor the condition of equipment, promptly identifying any issues and coordinating necessary repairs.* Prepare comprehensive monthly maintenance reports detailing the status of equipment and completed tasks, providing valuable insights for operational efficiency.* Manage maintenance staff and strategize routine maintenance plans for all equipment in the substation, scheduling inspections and repairs on a quarterly basis.* Provide training to visiting students, imparting crucial knowledge on substation operations and emphasizing safety protocols to foster a culture of safety awareness.* Prepare requisition letters to the division office for the procurement of materials required for major maintenance activities, ensuring adequate supplies for uninterrupted operations.* Effectively manage imprest money and oversee the procurement of small materials essential for day-to-day maintenance activities, optimizing resource allocation.* Assist Assistant Executive Engineer in Division office tasks, including tender preparation, purchase orders, dispatch instructions, and the compilation of feasibility reports, facilitating smooth administrative processes.
