Maintained Administrative, Clinical and Fiscal oversight on all HIV related Case Management and Harm Reduction services throughout the network facilities as follows: HIV Case Management Services; Provide a full continuum of comprehensive, family centered, intensive and non intensive, long and short term case management services.Provided Programmatic, Clinical and Fiscal oversight on case management services resulting in approximately 30% increase in the utilization of services.Operationalized and provided leadership as the Program Director to the following programs within Harm Reduction Services: •Harm Reduction and Substance Abuse Referral Program (Ryan White Part A): Expanded this program hospital wide to include services to the departments of Alcoholism, Substance Abuse and Methadone Maintenance programs in order to accept clients who are not ready for Abstinence model based services. The expansion increased utilization of services by 40% • Expanded Syringe/Needle Access Program: Established (2006) and executed the first hospital based syringe exchange program in the borough of Manhattan and the third in NYC. Created linkages with Harm Reduction Coalition to receive free staff trainings and guidance.• Opioid Overdose Prevention Program: Initiated (2007) and implemented the largest hospital- based Opioid Overdose Prevention Program in the nation, with forty physicians from the departments of Ambulatory Care, Psychiatry, Emergency, Internal Medicine and Virology participating in the project.
