At NepalCheck.Org, Nepal's latest fact-checking platform, I manage a team of five (including three freelancers and two staff) people. I assign fact-checkers, guide them through the process and edit their work. I also liaise with freelancers to maintain quality and ensure ethical and professional standards.

I have investigated dodgy business deals, including foreign direct investment, by telecom giants-- Telia and Axiata--into one of Nepal's major private telecom companies. I have also written about a trafficking network that smuggles people from Nepal to the US. I am interested in exploring money laundering, tax evasion and other financial crimes. My latest investigation uncovered the companies and individuals at the heart of Nepal's widebody deal, in which Nepal bought two jet planes from Airbus via intermediaries.

South Asia Check is a pioneering platform combating misinformation and disinformation in Nepal. As the editor, I oversee a dynamic four-member team based in Kathmandu. Along with investigating public interest issues to ensure accountability, I also edit reports from my colleagues. South Asia Check ensures accuracy, impartiality and credibility in its work.

I worked as a feature writer and investigative reporter for Nepal Weekly, a newsmagazine published from Kathmandu. Major investigations included human trafficking of Nepalis mercenary in Iraq, a kidney smuggling network from Nepal to India, sex trafficking in Kathmandu as well as in-depth reportages on organised crime and rights abuses.

I worked at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as an Alfred Friendly Press Fellow where I covered local news in Western Pennsylvania. I also covered different issues related to Nepal for the Post-Gazette.
