I am fortunate, as a core team member at Internshala, I have had the opportunity to impact lives of millions of students in India. In past 5 years, I have built and led a team of bunch of passionate people that has been re-defining 21st century education through our e- learning platform - Internshala Trainings. As the Head of Internshala Trainings, I have led numerous functions - Content, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support etc - to build a formidable e-learning business from scratch. Our focus has been to make learning easy for everyone - easy to understand, easy to access and easy on pocket. Getting my hands dirty on multiple functions have helped me gain necessary skills and experience to build a successful business.Building a scalable business is an important thing (we grew 400X in past 5 years), however, most satisfying part of this entire journey is the impact we are able to make on students’ lives. The value we are able to create for students is reflected in completion rate of our programs, feedback we get from students (all our trainings are rated 4+ on the 5 point scale) , and success stories we are able to create everyday.

Internshala Career Services - our pilot to test business opportunity for value added placement services for college students in India - was an experiment that lasted for about 5 months. Although we eventually closed this business to focus on other bigger opportunities, it proved to be a pivotal point in shaping what Internshala is today. Really proud of the hustle we showed and number of experiments - offline workshops, online workshops, institute tie ups, building pull marketing channels etc - we performed in a short span of time to validate this business opportunity. This was also my first experience of working on an online product and helped me instill product thinking. Some of the product/marketing ideas we experimented on this platform, we were able to implement them straight away on the next business/product I led at Internshala.

-Design, Development and Management of Tools and Procedures needed for User Interaction on web platform-Analyzed user interaction with web platform and optimized site for better user experience. Studied and optimized performance of the site for various keywords. - Got website approved for Google and Bing news. Implemented various revenue models.
