During my association with Infosys Limited, I realized that it is time for me to widen my skill set and take up more challenging managerial responsibilities in an organization. Through high score in common aptitude test in India, I secured admission in Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, one of India’s best B-Schools. Apart from being ranked high in the country, MDI is also known for best international programs with various partner universities. On entering MDI, I learned about the double-degree program that the institute has in collaboration with ESCP Europe, Paris, world’s first business school. I wanted pursue a career in international business as more companies are becoming global. Apart from being ranked 2nd worldwide for Master in Management by Financial Times (2012), ESCP is known for its internationalization as it provides a platform for more than 40 nationalities to study together under one roof. Moreover, Management studies in France have been appreciated for its rigor curriculum and business exposure. Due to ESCP’s international exposure and brand, MDI’s tie-up with ESCP and France’s business environment, I applied for this double-degree program and got selected. Through this program, I wish to take up a job where my responsibilities would be to expand existing markets and increase sales profitability, including promotions and sales support on a global playing field. I have always strive to pursue self-actualization to my best efforts. It has been my dream to be in a place where I can add to intellectual capital and grow as a good human being who contributes to society more than what he takes. Staying away from home for 10 years to pursue my education has made me a confident and an independent person. When I look back at my achievement, I become more certain that I have potential and determination to climb up the ladder of success. I truly believe I can chase my dreams and fulfill my society’s aspirations.
