As a Principal Engineer, my role was to work with all engineering teams to build the new Joyn streaming platform groud up. Working with other engineering directors in Architecture decisions, engineering standards, and hiring guidelines. Was actively involved in hiring to scale up the organization from 3 engineers to 150+. The focus was on bringing in the right talent with the right mindset and culture fit. Another area of focus was working with Product leadership in designing, scoping, and executing the product roadmap and milestones. We had a couple of major milestones during the time of launching the new product with AVOD proposition and later on relaunch with more SVOD assets and subscription model. Due to our great colleagues and engineers, we were able to hit both milestones with quality.
