Served as lead engineer for the core product that provides network operator with a rich set of capabilities for operating a digital commerce business. The existing product (SMP) is based on several standard J2EE technologies, including EJBs (CMP and Stateless Session), JMS etc. The next version of the product, currently under development, is based on a simpler technology stack, utilizing POJO/POJIs, Spring 2.0.x and JPA. The product is hosted in WebLogic (currently 9.x) with an Oracle transactional data store and is deployed to Red Hat servers.Qpass is a provider of enterprise mobile commerce software, whose customers include AT&T Wireless, Sprint-Nextel and T-Mobile UK. Qpass was acquired by Amdocs in 2006.

Served as lead engineer for an online D2C financial system for mobile commerce. This service was built utilizing Qpass' SMP product. Responsible for the overall technical direction, infrastructure design and implementation, interfacing with the QS and Product Management teams, coordinating tasks, managing bugs and staffing the development team.OpenMarket Exchange is a a D2C financial system that reaches more than 97% of U.S. mobile subscribers via direct connections with mobile operators. It was started as a division of Qpass in August 2005.

Served as senior engineer for all of Combimatrix's software offerings. As one of the first employees in the software group, I was responsible for defining our initial software architecture that ultimately shaped our company's successful software offerings.Combimatrix is a public company that produces semiconductor based lab-on-a-chip tools for use in life science research in genomics and proteomics.
