As Head Human Resources, I handled all strategic and operational responsibilities of HR, Personnel, Administration, IR & Safety.Gold Star group is one of the fasted growing groups in Jems and Jewellery sector. The group turn over was 500 crores(2006/07) while the parent group, R.T. Exports, also contribute the same turnover. R.T.Group is the site holder of D.T.C. and is in business of cutting, grinding and polishing of diamonds.I was responsible for initiating and implementing Change Management Process for enabling the organization to sustain and grow in global working environment.The thrust areas were Organizational Development thru various OD initiatives, Executive Development thru continuous capability enhancement, Selection and Training through implementing recruiting ,selection and training strategies. The I.R. initiatives include maintaining of peaceful and productive I.R.climate. The security initiatives include keeping a vigilant eye on company’s 1800 work force. The environment, Heath and safety initiatives are towards meeting global standards required for audit agencies such as ISO, Wal- Mart, and DTC.

As Group General Manager HRD for Texmaco Group, I was responsible for the entire gamut of Human Resources Initiatives for group’s senior management staff.Texmaco Group consisted of 25 SBU consisting of over 300 expatriate managers of many nationalities including Indian, Singaporean, German, Japanese and American. One of my major achievement was initiating & executing the structured development of second line of Indonesian managers under these expatriate managers.

As a Manager - Personnel & Training, I was responsible for the entire gamut of HR activities for Textiles and shirting marketing divisions including Raymond Retail Shops chain (over 200 shops spread across 80 cities in India) and sales agents.I was also responsible for wholesalers training program, the management trainee selections, training and induction for all divisions. Additionally, I was responsible for performance and potential appraisal planning, execution, review and analysis for the fabric and shirting marketing divisions as part of corporate responsibility.Prior to the above role, I worked in multiple roles with Raymonds with increasing responsibilities.
