Led the effort to re-architect Lark's core solution. This needed additional engineering hands so I joined the CTO in hiring efforts for positions ranging from team members to managers and the VP Eng. That quickly became my full time job. I screened thousands of resumes and did hundreds of interviews in just 6 months. This gave me a unique opportunity to learn about a whole spectrum of candidates. I got first hand experience into the challenges and inefficiencies inherent to candidate screening.

Led a team of bright engineers responsible for Apple’s 24/7 hardware diagnostics platform and was directly responsible for hiring key team members as well as the manager. As a technical architect I overhauled core components and led platform changes to support diagnostics on future devices. The hardware diagnostics platform is a real-time, high throughput, distributed system that helps save billions in warranty fraud every year. It enables device diagnostics on most Apple devices at worldwide retail stores and repair facilities.

Wrote a highly scalable simulator for Apple’s 24/7 hardware diagnostic platform, that saves hours of QA time across multiple teams for each launch cycle. It became the de facto tool for stress testing the platform.
