▶️A proven leader with 28+ years of experience in Employee Volunteering/Corporate Social Responsibility (6 years), Business Operations (8 years), and IT Program Management (14 years). I got introduced to CSR in 2009 and started volunteering to conduct due diligence for NGOs on behalf of the Cognizant Foundation. As head of the core committee for the Cognizant Foundation in Karnataka, I enabled the Foundation to award grants to NGOs after conducting a due diligence process. The Karnataka core committee has won 3 of the 5 annual awards for successfully channelizing maximum proposals.▶️In mid-2017, I took over as the Global Head of Cognizant Outreach (Employee Volunteering Program) serving for 46 months before leaving Cognizant in April 2021 to take a career break. Since its inception, Cognizant Outreach has engaged 200,000 unique Outreach volunteers in 29 countries who have clocked over 3.4 million hours of volunteering, impacting 700,000 lives across the globe by sharing their time and professional skills. It has won several recognitions such as the #1 ranking on the Self4Society volunteering platform launched by the Government of India in Oct 2018, India CSR award, UK and Europe Employee Engagement award, Champion of Good, Microsoft Social Impact award in Singapore, and several others.
